What I liked
My elderly mum was in this hospital in Feb. The staff in all the three wards she was entered into, (thru the needs she required), were kind, informative and VERY helpful to both her and us,the concerned sons. All my admiration goes to the AAU staff, Ward Q and the other ward that I cant remember the letter of.
What could be improved
Nothing that the hospital staff did, (from cleaning staff to doctors could be faulted). the social service staff there left a lot to be desired tho. Uninterested, inefficient and bureaucratic is just a start. The buildings themselves are past it.
Anything else?
A hospital full of FANTASTIC on the ground staff. From cleaners/porters to nurses/doctors. Admin is suspect. When the building work is completed then Wakefield should have a hospital to be proud of.
