"A and E department"

I attended the A and E department with an eye injury late at night as Manchester eye hospital was closed, from entering the department , the Reception staff were fantastic, they could see how much pain I was in, I was almost immediately called through to Triage and was dealt with in a caring and sympathetic manner, the nurse rang upstairs to eye specialist , who insisted on coming straight down to see me, I was seen by two very caring staff, they were fantastic and helped me with the pain and tried to make me as comfortable as possible to see me through the pain at night until I was able to attend Manchester Eye Hospital in the morning, |I would like to thank all staff involved in my care at A and E , such a shame I could not give the same thanks to the eye hospital at Manchester, they need to take a leaf from Salford Royal on care on how to treat patients that are in distress with pain, I spent hours sat in unbearable pain the morning after before I was seen by a Doctor.
