Having been very pleased with the care extended to my wife when we attended to have her infected finger seen to (see my other review), I needed to visit the unit again two days later after injuring my own thumb.
The wait for treatment was longer this time, about an hour instead of 10-15 minutes, but the care and consideration was exemplary again.
The nurse explained what was being done, and why, as they cleaned, inspected and stitched the wound, and the nurse then advised how I needed to look after it until it had healed. I was then passed to another nurse for the dressing to be applied, and this nurse was equally pleasant, caring and helpful.
