"Heart Attack"

About: Colchester General Hospital

On the 29th July 2015 unfortunately I suffered a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to Colchester Hospital.

The care and expertise I received was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

The ambulance service saved my life and the hospital gave it back to me.

I was in Dedham Ward for a week and just could not fault the care and dedication from all the staff, they were all brilliant and made a very scared man feel safe and secure.

I can only say a very huge thanks to the NHS, Ambulance Staff and all the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Colchester Hospital and Dedham Ward for their wonderful care, thank you so much.

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to post this compliment - it was pleasing to learn that you had such a universally positive experience!

We can't access individual's health records for any reason other than direct patient care so I was wondering if you could possibly consider emailing me a daytime phone number via info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk so that I can contact you in order to find out more.

Thank you for considering this request and thanks again for your kind words, which have already been shared with staff who I know will appreciate them as much as I do.
