"Cleanliness."

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Cleanliness.

What could be improved

I was boked for an endoscopy a few days after being admitted. I did without food and drink and was not told by 5pm that it was not going to happen. I had to ask if I could have my tea. I was shown no respect by staff and was discharged the next day being told the endoscopy apointment would be outpatients the following week. I,m no better than when I first was admitted and have been left to cope with pain and vomiting at home. It could have been sorted out in hospital.

Anything else?

I have not been informed about further treatment and have not even seen the gastroenterologist again despite having pain and gallstones. I had to have morphine while an in-patient and am still in pain.I feel nothing has been doe about my condition.
