What I liked

This was my first experience of having an operation and, although I was not nervous, all the hospital staff did everything to explain the procedure, thus keeping me calm.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staf, nurses, doctors and secretarial members, all of whom made my stay in hospital a pleasant experience.

Everyone was very polite and helpful.

My time in the operating theatre and recovery room was a real blessing. The short time I spent on the ward also saw a display of all the staffs compassion.
