"Placement in an acute ward in South West London and St George’s Trust"

About: South West London And St George's Mental Health NHS Trust

(as a student nurse),

Whilst on a placement in an acute ward in South West London and St George’s Trust, as a student nurse I experienced great support from all members of the team – including nurses. Doctors and OTs. I was made to feel part of the team from day one, which increased my confidence and enabled me to learn and develop during the placement. During the placement, I observed that service users were treated with respect by all members of the staff and each individual service user was involved in their own care plans.
