"Everyone seemed the happiest I've seen them in a long while"

This is some feedback that was recieved from one of the patients within The National High Secure Healthservice for Women at Rampton Hospital (Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) following a live band "Big Wayne's Blue's Experience" visiting the Direcorate to play for the patients.

"I just wanted to say that the band that came to play for us on 26th July 2015 was excellent! it was all upbeat music which uplifted the mood and atmosphere. Everyone seemed the happiest I've seen them in a long while. After the music kicked off the atmosphere seemed to be electric! I also enjoyed the food, it was sociable and relaxed. It would be really nice if we could have the same band here again and of course the food. It was also nice to see some of the Rampton staff playing in the band. Would it be possible to give note of thanks to the band and appreciation, and please ask them to come back"

Thank you very much to you all for taking the time to share your feedback and experience of the care you recieve within our National Women's Service Directorate here at Rampton Hospital.

As the Manager for Day-Care Services I am aware of how hard the staff and patients work together to share ideas and to host meaningful recovery focused events. It was my pleasure to see you all enjoying the music, looking so relaxed and expressing yourselves in the freedom that sometimes only music can provide.

I have passed on your thankspersonally to the band and requested that if possible they come back to play again before the end of the year.
