About: Nuffield Health, Leeds Hospital

can't thank the staff enough for the care they have given whilst my husband having CABG, whilst in critical care responded to my phone calls in detail which was much appreciated. however today when i visited on ingleborough his eve meal untouched, and if i hadnt have arrived the hostess would have taken it away, they were very kind and came back but hubby would have just said yes take it, i helped him eat nearly all of it, a good diet is integral to good recovery, i dont mind doing this because of constraints on nursing staff but be open and honest about and ask if we can come at meal times to help out, otherwise we assume its taken care of, that besides brilliant care and support

Hi there. I was very disappointed to learn of your experience and confirm the importance of good nutrition. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact me on 0113 388 2000, however please be reassured your feedback will be shared with the nursing team. Thank you for your very positive comments about your husband’s time in Critical Care. I will ensure the team there are made aware of how much their communication is valued. Maria Robinson, Matron
