"Excellent health care"

I have recently been a patient at Treliske hospital, Eden Ward C3. I would like to say how excellent the care was while I was there. The ward was cleaned very well everyday. The healthcare staff were very attentive and caring at all times. Even the food was reasonable. Nothing was too much trouble.

I could not have had better treatment. I was kept well informed with everything that was going to happen, everything was explained as many times as was necessary. The nurse in the recovery was kind and friendly and was able to spend a considerable amount of time ensuring I was comfortable after my operation.

My only concern was for the night staff, there were not enough staff to cope with all they had to accomplish so they were very stretched. Trying to make sure all patients were properly looked after meant they were rushed off their feet and didn't manage to get a break while on shift. However they still made sure we were all taken care of with such patience.

I highly commend everyone for what they do. I have been in hospital before but never had such excellent service.
