"Poor communication"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I arrived today at 8.10am for my 8.30am appointment to be told it had been moved to 11.05 due to an emergency ( ok these things happen ), but I was told some one had rung me yesterday to inform me , I had no such call and there were no notes on the system to confirm this. I was a little put out as there is not a lot to do for nearly 3 hrs ( not allowed to eat) and it was raining. Up till now after a visit on Tuesday I was very pleased with the "hospital experience and the staff in the x ray dept were were spot on when I did get in.
