Mr grandson was born with a life-threatening condition called Hirschsprung Disease in Feb 2014.
Initial problems with diagnosis and early treatment. After two-three weeks of life went under the care of Mr Daniel W Colliver, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at NUH.
Mr Colliver's skill and expertise saved my grandson's life. Mr Colliver also showed great warmth and understanding to us and it is this kindness that helped us cope under these difficult circumstances. He was always at the end of the phone and always responded promptly to any worries that we had.
During the first 12 months my grandson was in and out of hospital on many occasions with serious problems but on each occasion Mr Colliver and his team performed miracles and my grandson managed to pull through.
When my grandson was fit enough to have his difficult corrective surgery Mr Colliver's skill was exemplary and he is now a fit and active toddler who owes his life to Mr Daniel Colliver.
"Thank you for my Grandson's expert care"
