My family and I wish to express our great appreciation about the wonderful care my wife received it St Richard's Hospital over several weeks in July. She was treated mainly in the MAU, Boxgrove and Graffham wards
All the staff, doctors, nurses and other staff were at all times kind, courteous and friendly. We were kept fully informed and involved at all times about her progress. All our queries were responded to very promptly.
The decision to keep her in Graffham Ward and not try to transfer her to thelocal hospice was entirely right.
All this care was delivered with great sensitivity and compassion. We felt particularly grateful about the way we were left to be with her in her final hours.
All the staff were lovely people and The NHS is safe in their hands.
We will be asking for donations to the hospital charity at her funeral.
