"Needs work"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

Staff is doing good job but unfortunately some of them need training on basic care and common sense.

Hospital it self (maternity ward, Joan Brooked Ward) need urgent refurbishment and updates. And whoever thought that's a good idea to put bin containers just by the windows? It's not enough that there is so hot on a ward to ad the smell of rubbish.. Horrible. Basically staff is doing as much they can to make us feel comfortable but someone need to look in to those things I've mentioned.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and observations here. Our postnatal ward, Joan Booker, has been undergoing a programme of refurbishment over the last couple of years and we continue to identify areas for improvement and have plans in place to carry out further works over the coming months. The bin compound is located outside the back of the Abbey Wing block, as this is the most suitable site for it, but we are aware of the issue of smells lingering during hot weather. We have ordered new bins with better lids and increased the frequency of them being emptied to try and counteract this and we hope it will improve things. Thank you again for taking the time to share your comments, which we will take on board and use to make improvements for patients in the future.
