"Very thankful"

I was taken by ambulance to the A&E department of Rooyal Berkshire Hospital with severe abdominal pain and vomiting.

I was cared for extremely well by the ambulance staff, and given good pain relief. I was treated respectfully and with kindness and compassion. One member of staff who took lots of notes was great.

They handed me over to the staff at the hospital who thoroughly investigated and kept me comfortable while they tried to find a cause for my problems.

They were kind, efficient and professional. I felt very well cared for.
