"Poorly organised waiting area at Newhan General"

About: Newham General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Just quick suggestion, on Saturday. I went for blood check for my new born baby in Newham hospital antenatal Clinic zone 12, on entering to the antenatal Clinic reception area there were approx 10 to 15 other parents with children waiting for blood check also, I spoken to mid age lady on reception and explained to her why I was there, she didn't even ask for name or nothing, just told me to take a seat and wait until is your turn because everyone is waiting the same. How would you know when is our turn I asked her, as there was a full room and people constantly moving in and out, she then replyed. SORRY BUT THAT'S THE WAY IT IS. so I had to start searching and arguing with others saying I was here before you or after ect ect... for such a small thing reception staff I do not think they should wait for management to invent something because they could easily print some numbers and laminate them then cut and give it to patients in order as they come in and that would be it no confusions after. this is only one idea, I am sure staff in newham have so many better ideas but why they do not put them in place I have no idea why.

Many thanks for taking the time to read my advice.
