"visit to the dept of breast and sking surgery"

today I visited the breast clinic for a lump in my breast . I had been to the GP 2 weeks earlier so the apt was very quick for a referral . on arrival I was seen almost immediately a doctor who was kind and gentle, while professional, giving me the opportunity to discuss genetic issues within my family as well as the current problem . To me this was invaluable not to feel I was being rushed .

Today I was fortunate enough to have a positive outcome but I feel very reassured that should I have a diagnosis at some point which needed treatment I would trust and value their care and knowledge .

The whole appointment which also included ultra sound was smooth and joined up , timely and only kindness and respect was shown throughout . Thank you for a really positive experience .
