My daughter had dental care at Park House, Carlton.
All the staff were very friendly, calm and reassuring. They made sure we knew what was happening and explained everything well.
My daughter gets anxious and they gave her all the time she needed, ensured she was in control and were very patient and supportive. When they were unsure about whether she was trying to communicate with them during treatment they straight away stopped, put the instruments out of sight and asked her is she was ok and checked she was happy for them to continue.
They offered her rests in the middle and lots of praise and encouragement. All of this helped her to be calm and she recovered from the experience very quickly once at home.
I felt relaxed and confident they had the skills not only to treat her teeth but also her anxiety and mental/ emotional well being.
