What I liked

My appointment at the Maxillofacial (head and neck) clinic was brilliant. I was called for my appointment with the consultant two minutes before my appointment time! The consultant and nurse were wonderfully friendly. The consultant put me at ease and told me everything i needed to know - i didn't need to ask a single question! The clinic was very clean and organised, with a comfortable waiting area. I was treated like I was a very important patient (even though i'm not) and the staff all seemed very competent, which is reassuring. 5-stars to the Maxillofacial clinc and staff from me.

What could be improved

The consultant I saw referred me to two more consultants. By chance I contacted reception to enquire about my appointments and i was told that there was a problem. The referral letters had gone missing. The lady on the phone said that this had been caused by a new digital system they just had installed. Anyway, she took my details and fixed the problem immediately, then called me back to confirm. If only all reception staff could be as helpful.
