"Excellent professional care"

I had to take my seven year old son to the hospital. He had fallen from a tree the previous evening and his wrist was painful. We arrived there at 7.30am and we immediately seen by a nurse who examined his arm and suspected a broken wrist. They had a very caring manor and made us both feel at ease. All the areas of the hospital were bright, clean and well maintained. We had to consult with our GP at Howard House regarding an x-ray. We had a very prompt telephone consultation and visit to the surgery. We returned to Felixstowe Hospital for the x-ray. The x-ray was done immediately and it was forwarded to Ipswich Hosital for examination. The nurse advised us to return home and they would telephone me with the outcome. Within an hour of us returning home we had a call and advised that the wrist was broken and we would have to attend Ipswich A & E. We proceeded to Ipswich where his arm was put in a cast without delay. We were given excellent, prompt, professional care from all three medical facilities used on that morning. The staff made my son feel at ease and made a painful incident as painless as possible. Well done all and thank you very much.
