I was admitted via A&E with chest pain at about 10 am and was immediately seen and investigated by the nursing staff and consultant. Following tests I was transferred to the Acute Medical Unit for further test after 12 hours. All the staff were excellent and I was discharged after the results were satisfactory. Despite the previous bad press regarding the hospital I can say that the standard of care was excellent. I am retired general practitioner.
