"No money to complete the procedure"

About: Newcastle Dental Hospital

I have needed root canal treatment 3 times on the same tooth, all carried out extremely well by my local dentist. When it recurred a 4th time they referred me to the dental hospital saying that they have greater expertise, better equipment and may also find out why it keeps recurring. All the nursing staff and admin staff were excellent and helpful during my visit. The dentist however was not really interested in my problem, and although didn't say it out loud their face said what they were thinking "not another case to see". What was worse they said that because they had too many patients attending the dental hospital all they could do was open up my root canal and take a look, and then send me back to my own dentist to fill it ! I could not believe what I was hearing. Oh and to recommend a dental tooth cleaner that was too large for my interdental space. I'm still in pain and have lost all faith in this hospital.
