"Once past reception staff, the Nurses' & Doctors'..."

About: Watford General Hospital

The 3 people sitting at the reception desk are unprofessional, badly trained to be patient facing and took my initial information down completely incorrectly. Luckily English is my first language and I am coherent so I could correct this information for the doctor, I do worry that an older person or someone who was fully switched on due a high temperature for example would have their treatment handled badly due to poor notes. I met a doctor who managed my symptoms very well, offering the tests I needed, with results within an hour. The doctor offered me brilliant follow up advice and a referral to a specialist who can handle my follow up treatment. I arrived feeling very unwell and worried, and left feeling urasuured that my care was been taken seriously. I was in and out in 3 hours on a Monday evening, which is what I was prepared for as services are obviously stretched.
