About: Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust / Community physiotherapy

(as a carer),

In June 11:30 I came to see the physio. The way she treated me and the way she explained things to me and she made me understand what was wrong with me.

I wish you could have more physio therapist like her, she is one of the best I have ever met.

She has got that respect of people and treats you with dignity.

I wish she could transfer this to the other staff in the NHS. You feel better before she has even touched you. That’s why I am giving these comments, she is marvellous.

Hello Fury 667 Thank you for your comments about your Community Physiotherapist. Being treated with dignity and respect is a given in care and treatment within the NHS but it is always very pleasing and reassuring to hear that this is the case. Knowing also that the way the therapist explained things to you and helped you to understand what was wrong with you is equally important in the treatment process and your longer term health and well being. I will ensure your comment is passed on to the Community Physiotherapy team who will be delighted to read it but also I will pass this on to our Training department who can use your comment in the various training and development programmes with staff, particulary around our values and what matters to patients.
