"CT Catastrophe!"

About: Good Hope Hospital

Absolute nightmare visit today. Treated appalingly by staff who severely lack common courtesy and whose communication abilities were non existent. Kept waiting for over an hour after appointment time, no communication at any time from any staff member to explain why. Water jug was placed on table in front of me not consulted on whether this was for me or not. Herded around the corner to have a cannula inserted but not told why! Staff were inconsiderate throughout. They could at least have announced that there was a backlog. I do understand that there are emergencies arriving as well as in patients however a little common courtesy would have been good. Not the usual standard from Good Hope Hosptal such a shame that today the ct team were not on top form. Get your act together you can be so mch better than today's experience.

Dear Sir or Madam

Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your experience in our CT Department at Good Hope Hospital. My apologies for any delay in responding to your concern.

I am extremely sorry for your poor experience and would like to reassure you that we take seriously any issues our patients raise with us, and your feedback is extremely important.

I would like to highlight your experience to Eunan McGlynn CT/MRI Superintendent Radiographer for the trust who will be most concerned to learn of your poor patient experience.

Can I please ask you to contact me at your convenience so that I may obtain more information from you about your visit?

It would be most helpful. I can be contacted on 0121 424 0808 or by email: marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk.

I hope this is acceptable and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Marie Helebert
