I have been treated for my complex multi-system health problems at 2 large teaching hospitals within a 40 miles radius of the West Suffolk Hospital, as well as at the West Suffolk Hospital. I am a fairly frequent visitor. The West Suffolk Hospital is now my hospital of choice. Any new referrals are directed here at my request. My GP loves the West Suffolk too. I live approx 40 miles away. I like the old world feel to the place; everyone's friendly, relaxed and helpful; I like the senior volunteers who hang around in outpatients - always willing to help you - that is lovely! I like the little fund raising stalls; I like the fact that you can dine without being ripped off; I don't like that disabled parking is virtually non-existent, but because I love the old place I'm willing to struggle; I don't like that my Dermatologist has left - they were truly was one of life's sweet, caring people. I will just have to get used to the new one! My daughter's premature twins were born here by emergency c-section. They staff were very good with her and the little twinnies. It was a very stressful time for everyone. So carry on helping everyone West Suffolk. You're doing a grand job in the hardest of times for the NHS. I have four children who are all nurses at different hospitals. I truly know how hard it is for you to come to work with a smile on your face sometimes. Well done everybody!
