About: Chase Farm Hospital

Was booked into Chase Farm for a knee replacement , from the receptionist who arranged the appointment to the nurse who waved me goodbye , was treated with the utmost respect .Before the operation date went to a meeting with other patients who were due for knee/ hip replacement where we met members of the team who told us what we would expect & what was expected of us to enable a good stay & a speedy recovery . On the day of the op . the surgeon & anatheist came to speak to me about whether I wanted to be asleep or just the knee being frozen. After the operation the nursing staff were absolutely super in how they treated all the patients .I would like to say a big thank you. The only downside was the car parking , when my wife came to pay a couple in front of them were having an argument about how to pay when another person said on a Saturday you just pay £2 which they all did, but of course got a £60 fine , then because of having to look after me forgot to pay & landed up having to pay £100.
