"nothing, my experience was horrific."

About: Pilgrim Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

nothing, my experience was horrific.

What could be improved

literally everything.

The A&E dept was awful, staff rude and dismissive (when i could actually get a staff member to talk to ) doctors refused to spek to us.

Sick and dried blood in the cubicle

Not a nurse in sight on CDU and again filthy.

Anything else?

My mother was misdiagnosed and discharged which could have been fatal.

The doctor (who spoke little English) told me 'we have patients dying' this to justify discharging my mother.

By the time Pilgrim finished with her she was almost dying.

On the ward my mother was given an injection in a toilet.

I am concerned to read about your mother's experience at one of our Hospitals and I would welcome the opportunity to investigate the issues that you raise about your mother's care and treatment further. I would value the opportunity to talk to you about your mother's care at a time that is convenient to you. Sylvia Knight, Chief Nurse.
