"Lack of post op information and "missed" by Dr..."

Hospital review The nurses on my first visit were terrible, took over 90 mins to even come and talk to me and then starved me for 36 hours for no reason. Consultant then discharged me with no treatment the following day on the provisio I would be back in for the op within 2 weeks. On the Thursday of the 1st week I had colic again and called to see when my appt was..to be told that it had not been sorted yet and that it would not be in the agreed timeframe. I advised I was going into A&E again due to the pain. Took 7 hours for me to actually get back on the ward, nurses were much more attentive and polite this time and I was scheduled for surgery. When I came out of surgery one nurse told me one thing and another told me another thing! At no point did a Dr or consultant speak to me. I was advised that I could go home and a consultant would talk to me but that did not happen. The consultant left the site without seeing me and only a Jnr Dr was left to try and figure out the notes as to what had happened to me. Quite frankly this is a disgusting state of affairs, and I have been either dismissed or kept in the dark about what is being done and what the outcome was. On top of this when I made the decision that I didn't want to take up another night the bed and I was going to go home it took over 3 hours to get my medication! I even had to go and chase it before it was sorted and brought to me! Overall Totally unprofessional
