"Visit to ED tonight"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

After being advised by 111 service to come into the ED. I reluctantly came in at about 10:30pm on Sunday night. I needed have worried, all the staff were helpful, professional and kind. I apologised for taking up their valuable time but staff were quick to reassure me that I had done the right thing. I was able to go home after some tests and seeing the Dr. The doctor was clear and helpful and treated me with dignity and respect. As I waited for my test results I heard staff dealing with some challenging patients with patience and humour! Well done CRH and thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments after last night's visit to ED. You did absolutely the right thing to come in and great news that we were able to check you over, get you the tests you needed and back home again. I really pleased to read your comment about being treated with dignity and respect. The ED will be delighted to see your review and I will make sure they have a copy (and yes - they do have a great sense of camaraderie in there!) Kind regards Sarah Turner-Saint, head of communications
