What I liked

I went to A & E. I was seen by a nurse within a couple of minutes. They were very kind. From reception onwards I was asked several times if I had allergies, health problems, medication etc. The Doctor & nurse explained things, were kind and appreciated the pain involved. Dr and nurse worked superbly.Other Drs and nurses came in to watch & although I would have liked to have been asked if this was OK with me, I didn't mind. Treatment was first rate and with follow up visits nurses and Dr were all very kind and never made me feel rushed. Old fashioned decor and a bit scruffy but clean, friendly and knowlegable. Thank you.

What could be improved

The waiting room is small and you have to sit either next to the main door which opens all the time and is cold or the loo which isn't nice. No facilities for refreshments other than leaving the building and only in the day. No privacy when giving details to receptionist which includes name, address, phone number etc which I disliked.
