"doctor late for appointment"

I had an appointment at Louth County Hospital Gynaecology clinic held every Tuesday time 14. 50 I arrived at 14. 30 there were 4 other ladies in the waiting room a Nurse appeared shortly after my arrival to inform us that the Doctor was on her way ( From Lincoln ) as the clinic should start at 13. 00 this was a bit late it is at least a 40/45 min drive from Lincoln to Louth I chatted to the other ladies and one said her appointment was for 13. 30 she had been there since 13. 00 in the end they were about to offer us new appointments for another day when the Doctor arrived it was now 14. 55 I heard the Doctor say that she was not told to come to Louth until late. One lady could not wait and left another had to contact her child minder and pay another £10 for her to keep the child longer. I was eventually seen at 16. 15 I find it very bad management that a clinic that happens every week is not properly staffed, this is not the first time once I was called about an hour before my appointment to say no Doctors had turned up so the clinic was cancelled and I had to wait several more weeks for my next appointment.
