"doctor no-show"

attened for out-patient apptmt round April (NHS-GP referral) - after waiting with 2 other ladies for half an hour (in my case, they waited even longer) - the clinic was cancelled because the Doctor did not show and was now at home in/nr Ilkeston (could not be asked to return). I left and requested a rfund of my 5£ bus fee. Was told I would be contacted o/phone ht next day - which did not happen; emailed the company with feedback - no reply - no apology.

I apologise you have not received a response to your complaint before now.

I have recently been appointed as General Manager at Woodthorpe Hospital.

Please accept my apology that you had a wasted journey to see a Consultant who did not arrive.

Thank you for your feedback, when a patient shares with us when we failed to meet their expectations it allows us to learn, improve and do better next time.
