What I liked

Methodical & professional approach to reducing painful symptoms and to getting me better by individuals

What could be improved

Communication between staff and towards myself was inconsistent, No information available to my relatives as to my condition or treatment. Mental health care non existent. Never once was asked how i felt. Impersonal and indifferent attitude of most staff. Whilst i appreciate they were busy, i felt neglected.

The food was very unhealthy. It was extremely salty and rich. Mainly pies. I got terrible heartburn after meals. Total lack of fresh fruit and vegetables and healthy sandwhich options especially at lunch times.

Anything else?

Major Inconsistencies in health and safety regarding the isolation ward proceedures. I.e mask, glove wearing etc..Different rules appeared to apply to different staff members and different shifts.
