This is the second time I needed to attend this clinic in three years and as before, I was impressed with the staff attitude and care - both clinical and nursing staff. I had chosen this clinic before after unhappy experiences with another local hospital and have not regretted making the switch. My appointment came really quickly (I saw the GP on Monday night and was seen in the clinic the following Thursday afternoon, which certainly beats the NICE 2 week guidelines). They took the trouble to explain procedures to me and keep me informed of progress because there was quite a bit of waiting around for the mammogram and ultrasound. There were nice little touches like nurses making sure they tied the gown up for me - this sounds like a small thing but it shows respect and makes a refreshing change from someone pointing at a cubicle and telling the patient to get on with it. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, although I was aware that a great deal of work was going on behind the scenes.
"This is a good clinic"
