"Camhs inpaitent"

I was sent to watcombe hall under an informal patient as if I refused I would have been Sectioned. When I was first sent to the unit my mum was allowed to come in to complete the admission process with the doctor, at this point I was very distressed and anxious. The ward manager then came and wanted to show me my room but they wouldn't allow my mum to come with me to do so. Soon after my mum was sent away from the unit really promptly and I was left in the communal area to interact with patients I didn't know. I found my time at watcombe extremely un helpful and I think in the long term it's added to my worsening mental state over the last few months. I understand that wh is a new unit and is bound to have a few teathing problems but the amount of problems that occur even on a daily basis was beyond bad! I hope that things have gotten better in the management of the unit since I was there. And I hope it's been improved for the sake of other young people.
