Initially I was admitted to QEH at beginning of July for a routine/planned operation. The care I received from PODS, Theatres and Treatment Centre Level 2 was excellent from all the staff involved. Unfortunately a week post surgery, I was rushed back into the QEH. I cannot praise highly enough the treatment I received in A&E in the new Emergency Care Centre that day from all the nurses and doctors. Their skilled, efficient and caring attitude helped diagnose the problem quickly at a time where I was unwell and frightened. I was then transferred back to Treatment Centre Level 2, where I cannot put into words how grateful I am for all the care and attention I received from all members of nursing, medical, domestic and support staff on this ward. The ward was exceedingly busy for the 6 days I spent on here, but all the patients were treated with upmost care. At a time when the NHS is under a constant battering, I felt I needed to write this to thank everyone who looked after me at the QEH for all they did. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital to any of my family and friends. Thank you all...
"Excellent care from QEH"
