"induced on maternity ward."

About: Burnley General Hospital

I was induced for the second time on 27 june 2015. I was having contractions and the midwife on duty was lovely during the day. At about 8 oclock in evening they changed staff. The midwife was very loud. They did not monitor my baby, turn the lights down or check my developing labour. I had to keep n on going to the nursing station to tell them my contractions were coming closer and closer about five times over a period of two hours. I told them i was being sick, and asked for some pain relief also. They had sent my partner home at ten oclock at night, ven though I'd previously told them my contractions were every twenty minutes. When they finally believed me,they monitored my baby and said id have to ring my partner myselfm i was in total agony and had to speak to him myself that was so painful. They were so inconsiderate and 'cocky', telling me that they were the boss. Please think twice about being induced here at this hospital as no sympathy or consideration is offered to those having a baby as it is a scary moment in life.
