"RDH the Super hospital, no it's amazingly..."

I am just coming to the end of a 4 day stay in RDH and have been amazed at how all the staff from porter, to cleaner to HCA to Nurse, to Sister, to manager and of course Doctor all deliver such wonderful care and consideration at such a personal level, so professionally. I must make particular mention of the MycoBial Pharmacist. They have managed to organise a year's course of infused antibiotics for me and kept every hurdle systems put in their way to help me reduce my demand on hospital and community nursing over the next year by as much as possible. In the main this has been enabled by the amazing Parenteral Therapy Specilist who, within 3 mornings has managed to teach this fairly intelligent 64 year old bloke how to clean his hands, mix drug, insert into saline bottles, attach to a PICC line and sit for 2.5 hours whilst they enter his blood stream. You get my Gold Star, but I really don't want a job, thanks though! All of the treatment I have been suscribed and am undergoing is the result of great effort by the TB nurses working with the wonderful Consultant, has helped them gain such incredible knowledge of Mycobacterium. I believe them that I am just "unfortunate" to have got the strain I have but am incredibly grateful to them for their knowledge, dedication and personal endeavours to set me on the road to recovery. You also get my Gold star! None of this would have been discovered had it not been for the diligence of a most skilled, personable, charming ENT consultant who refused to give up helping me find the cause of my problems, thank you so much. Finally, a member of staff of Private Health, the Sisters, all the nurse, HCA' and hostesses, thank you so much for making my 4 days in Private Health so friendly, comfortable and successfully allowing me to go home with the skills required, removing the need for me to spend weeks or months in hospital, freeing the bed for more deserving patients. RDH, you are the best!
