"Exceptional Care from the out of hours team"

About: Louth Community Hospital

I attended Louth for an out of hours appointment following a call to the 111 service over a bank holiday weekend. I have never really had much experience with the NHS - but the care I received was outstanding. I arrived in agony due to a gall bladder infection - I was examined, had blood tests was given two lots of pain relief and anti sickness meds before being sent home a few hours later in no pain what so ever. I left feeling cared for and looked after. As a direct result of this visit I have the confidence to have my gall bladder removed - I had previously been too fearful to have this procedure. (this was my third infection in two years) I cannot thank the staff enough - the receptionist - the nurses- the doctor - I cannot praise and thank them enough for their hard work, care and support.

Many thanks for your welcome comments. It is always nice to receive positive feedback about our services. This will be shared with the staff that work in the Urgent Care Centre.
