"Possible blood clot"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

After going in to the hospital at 4pm on Monday afternoon with pain in her leg suspecting a blood clot and after giving birth just a week earlier, my daughter (25) was admitted to a ward to await a scan. It is now 8.27pm on the Tuesday evening and still no scan! Even though I rang three times and was promised twice she would have it within the next hour. Now told to wait until tomorrow morning but still no guarantees. Yes, provided blood thinners just in case, but my daughter wanted to walk out and administer herself. Having lost a close friend to a blood clot some 6 years ago, I am to say the least very annoyed and no one will give me any answers as to why taking so long and to why promised me twice. They wont even talk to me now as say its patient confidentiality? I am not asking about my daughter, I am trying to ask why they are so incompetent! I await another 12 hours as does my daughter! and complaints will follow Concerned Father
