"Rare visit to hospital"

About: Wycombe Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Approach to hospital on foot is awful.

At 84 I dodge traffic to cross Queen Alexandra Road (why no pedestrian crossing? ) to be faced with a cliff of dirty concrete and a climb past a doorway which orders No Smoking with butts scattered over the floor. Dodge more vehicles to reach main entrance,

Then, what a contrast! Entrance lobby is lovely, clean and comfortable. Cafe is delightful, coffee too. Brilliant signage (how much better than at Amersham hospital). Staff impeccable, on time for appointment.

Back outside a glance back at those Russian-style cliffs all round, Why don't you paint them? Something like red ochre would be nice.

Please don't just sit in cars, open eyes to see visual improvements which wouldn't break our NHS.
