Yesterday my daughter tried to receive support from the Early Intervention Team. Her quality of care has been erratic ranging from ok to quite frankly shocking.
The day culminated in a call with a worker who spent most of the conversation discussing their own anxiety and past anxiety in such a nervous and jittery manner that my daughter became so distressed she asked me if she could just hang up. She did this but nobody called her back. Anything could have happened.
This is a true reflection of care from a rude and downright awful bullying staff member who actually out rightly lies to your face to people who say they'll call her back but just never bother. She ended up ringing the Samaritans and receiving support as per usual from her family who themselves are massively struggling and weighed down with the pressure of the situation which has gone on for two years.
Zero point complaining as they are so defensive and always have an excuse. Plus the management of the service is unprofessional and disorganised.
