"85 years old sent to A&E by GP with Heart Failure"

About: Tameside General Hospital

85 year old Mum sent by GP with heart failure, UTI, and Gout which she couldn't walk at all at 6pm to A&E. Sent home at 01:00, without any medication and told that the GP should have provided medication and left up to the very poorly patient and family to instruct the GP on what care should have been provided by GP. Not sure as a family we should have to do this really. HealthCare staff that will not to speak with each other = very poor patient care...I'm sure this situation will not be part of the NICE Guidelines for Heart Failure Care. Shocking patient care
