What I liked
I have attended the Women's Unit on a number of occasions over the past year due to abnormal cells being found during a smear test. I had a colposcopy and a loop excision followed by a number of check ups and was ALWAYS treated with respect, compassion and kindness by the staff at the unit. I was so pleasantly surprised during my first visit that the nurses pro-actively try to put each of the ladies there at ease and look after them during what is for the patient a very nervous time. The waiting time was always minimal and things seem to be very well organised. The nurses work well with the doctors and are there if you need a 'hand to hold' during some uncomfortable procedures. They even offer you a cup of tea and a biscuit when you're done!
What could be improved
Nothing. Thanks to the hard work of all the team at the Women's Unit.
