I was in women's ward last week near to the admissions lounge in July; I don't recall exactly what the part of the hospital was called. I was in at 7 and when I got my bed on the ward the nurse introduce herself very politely. She was very calm and nice. Her name was Jane/Jayne Reid(Reed), not 100% sure on how her name was spelt.
She introduced me as my nurse who was taking care of me for the day. When I returned from recovery and was very emotional she immediately jumped to attention to give care and assistance. I ensured her I wasn't in any pain and I was just emotional from the anaesthetic.
She was very caring and always asking if I needed anything. She was helpful and happy to refill my drinks and she made really awesome toast! She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed after a stressful first proper operation. She was the best nurse on the ward at the time and made me feel very comfortable after my first operation. She was making conversation and asking how I was whenever she did my blood pressure.
I would appreciate it if this feedback got back to her as I would like to thank her and give her the appreciation from not only me but my mother also who was very nervous as well.
"Nurse was very caring"
