About: Manor Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

At the beginning of April, my little 2 year old boy became very ill. We were seen immediatly in the paedeatric assessment unit by nurses and doctors who were thorough, gentle and talked to us at every stage. A surgeon, who was actually off duty, came to assess him and acted straight away by operating on him within the hour. My little boy had a gangrenous, perphirated appendix with peritinitus. A very poorly boy but with the superb care and speed of everyone at the Manor hospital he is now fully recovered. Theatre staff, doctors and everyone who came into contact with him came to see how he was doing on the ward. During our stay my little girl had her first birthday so nurses decorated his room with balloons and gave her presents. We, as a family, cannot praise all the staff at the Manor hospital and thank them enough for everything they did. I would recommend the hospital to anyone and would assure them that cleanliness is obviously one of their priorities.
