"Awful midwives"

Out of the many midwives and nurses me and my partner saw, only a couple were any good. the rest were terrible. (so that's 2 out of 12 that we saw, we were there quite a while). No bedside manners, one gave an injection for a drip which left my wife in constant pain and disregarded what my wife said. We mainly felt ignored and part of a cattle conveyor belt. No empathy from the majority of them. Was left waiting for a long time on first entry. They forgot about us at lunch after the birth. Lack of help and any quick response when my wife fainted, because of low iron levels. (I'm guessing the fainting was probably a result of missing the lunch). Nurse very reluctant to help, carry or aid if asked. Also during the early scans the nurse looked like they didn't want to be there, huffing and talking sharply. Absolutely dreadful. Avoid. Few positives: The few doctors that we saw (anaesthetist, Dr doing the stitching etc) were good. The antenatal classes were quite good.
