"unacceptable waiting time"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road)

Took my young son for eye pain he had been experiencing. Travelled from Hertfordshire and waited over 3 hours till much gone 11pm. Was told by a member of staff that there were still others in front of my son, it could be a while, and that there would only be one doctor after 11pm, there was still a significant number waiting too. I was very disappointed that a child is not treated quicker than this and left the hospital infuriated, barely catching one of the latest trains. I dont normally write reviews but felt this one was necessary considering my taxes are paying for services like this.

I am sorry to hear you had such a long wait when visiting our Accident and Emergency department, especially at that time of night. I have forwarded your comments to the A&E team and obviously we would like to address your concerns in more detail.
