"Walk in Blood Tests"

About: Chase Farm Hospital

I thought walk in blood tests at Chase Farm were from 8am to 7.30 on a Monday? I was surprised, as when I got to the blood test room at 7.10pm on the 3rd August 2015. A nurse was locking up. They walked past me, muttering something under their breath jangling their keys as I walked to check the door. I think this is discrasefull. As I was there in good time. Before 7.30pm as stated on the blood documents I had. I did a detour from my normal commute back from work, and walked from Gordon Hill Station and back. To find I had completely wasted my time. Well if this is the way Chase Farm is run now. No wonder nobody wants to go there.

Sorry to hear about your experience. You are right that our blood room is open until 7.30pm - we will pass your comments on to the phlebotomy department who will look into this and speak to the team on duty that night. Thanks very much for letting us know.
